I actually think I preferred the other one before you edited but it's a great portrait anyway! You definitely have a lot of talent!
I clicked on here thinking, 'why that's the most contrasted photo I've ever seen.' I think you pulled it off. This one more than the last. It does remove the photo from reality more though. I like it as a symbol. I think that's what you wanted anyway with the face highlighted as it is.

I like how the details in his face is captured very well with good focus and dof. The over exposed clothing gives a mood to the shot eventually.
